Neil Warnock manufacturers rival participant’s punch ‘manslaughter’ as ex-Prem ref has say

Former prime referee Dermot Gallagher has dismissed Neil Warnock‘s controversial declare {that a} punch on his star striker was “manslaughter”.

“Somebody that is aware of the sport of soccer would have given a penalty there. If that is anyplace on the pitch, it is a reserving. I’m bewildered at that.”

But former Premier League official Gallagher was having none of it. He analysed big decisions in Scottish Premiership games, including two controversial moments from the match at Pittodrie.

Asked about Warnock’s remark and the conflict between the pair, Gallagher advised Sky Sports’ Ref Watch: “He [Miovski] did [get punched in the face], but the goalkeeper catches him after he gets the ball.

“The ahead goes in, it may be a collision, however the keeper will get the ball first.”

There was also an incident with Hibs star Nicky Devlin where it looked like he might have handled the ball in the Aberdeen box, but Gallagher said: “He obtained fortunate I believe. Leans into the ball, will get fortunate.”

Warnock had been happy with his team’s performance in a “cracking recreation”, which he said they deserved to win after 26 shots on goal. However, he added: “The objectives we conceded, oh my goodness me.

“We knew they were going to dive, so why touch them, why breathe on them? Let them have the ball in them areas. It really frustrates me, it was a frustrating game for me.”

He added: “We’ve got to start getting clean sheets and being proud of getting clean sheets. The two goals today could have both been prevented.”
