Bordeaux star ‘in induced coma’ after sickening conflict of heads in first minute
Bordeaux star Alberth Eli has reportedly been positioned in an induced coma after a scary head conflict.
The 28-year-old winger was taking part in in a Ligue 2 match towards Guingamp on Saturday (February 24) when he collided with defender Donatien Gomis simply 34 seconds into the sport, the Mirror stories.
Both groups have been clearly upset as the sport was stopped for eight minutes whereas Elis acquired medical consideration. The former Houston Dynamo ahead was carried off the pitch to applause from the gang and awakened on the stadium.

Bordeaux later mentioned: “Alberth Elis went to the hospital to undergo medical examinations. We wish him a speedy recovery.” However, France Bleu radio station now says that Elis had ‘severe head accidents’ from the collision and was put into an induced coma on the best way to the hospital in Bordeaux.
Despite the incident, Bordeaux received the match 1-0. Manager Albert Riera devoted the win to Elis and gave an replace on his situation after the sport. “I spoke with the doctor, we can’t say anything about this yet,” the previous Liverpool midfielder mentioned. “He is currently in the hospital. The victory is for Alberth Elis. The victory is well deserved”.

Midfielder Gaetan Weissbeck spoke to the membership’s media after the sport and mentioned: “We dedicate this victory to him, obviously. This is where we realise that things can go very quickly in life… So we will give him very, very great support. We’re really going to be with him wholeheartedly, checking in on him.
“We’ve already heard from him, and now we hope that he’ll get higher, and that he’ll get better as rapidly as attainable.” He then showed off Elis’ shirt on Instagram, writing: “This victory is for you. We are with you.”
Elis has scored 5 targets in 22 league video games for Bordeaux this season in what has been a troubling marketing campaign for the six-time French champions who sit 10 factors away from the drop zone.

Elis first got here to Bordeaux on mortgage from Boavista in Portugal again in 2021 after which made the swap for good the following summer season. After a spell at Brest final season, Elis is again taking part in on the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
The membership from the sunny south of France obtained bumped all the way down to the third division for the 2022-23 season due to cash troubles, however they fought their approach again to Ligue 2 after checking out their money owed.
