Heathrow has denied that it’s shelving plans for a 3rd runway as passenger numbers proceed to swell.

Europe’s busiest airport has pushed again towards studies that chief govt Thomas Woldbye wished to scrap the growth and was within the technique of disbanding the workforce accountable for it.

In an announcement final evening, Heathrow mentioned the claims, which had been first reported by The Sunday Times, had been ‘mistaken’ and ‘not reflective’ of its technique.
