Ryanair brawl erupts on flight ‘as drunk passengers power emergency touchdown’
A brawl onboard a Ryanair flight left a number of drunk passengers spilling into the aisles, forcing an emergency touchdown.
Holidaymakers travelling to Spanish island Tenerife have been met with police presence, with some describing it because the “worst flight” they’d ever skilled. Footage has since emerged of the horror brawl on the flight from Edinburgh to the Spanish island.
Passengers have been hauled off the flight by members of the power after some “became disruptive onboard” the airplane, forcing it to make an emergency land in Porto, Portugal. A spokesperson for Ryanair confirmed the brawl had occurred on a flight on Sunday, February 25.

A passenger who slammed the flight because the “worst of his life” had recorded scenes from the brawl. Ryanair has since confirmed the matter is now “for local police” to kind after a number of members of the flight have been taken off the airplane.
A Ryanair spokesman mentioned: “This flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife (25 Feb) diverted to Porto when a small number of passengers became disruptive onboard. Crew called ahead for police assistance and the aircraft was met by local police upon arrival who removed these passengers before this flight continued to Tenerife. This is now a matter for local police.”
It adopted on from an American Airlines flight have been passengers grappled with a bloke attempting to open the door of the airplane mid-flight, which led to cabin crew duct-taping him to his seat.
Passenger Zach Etkind took to Twitter/X, and wrote: “30 minutes after departing Albuquerque I was shaken out of my Panda Express and tequila induced stupor by a man trying to aggressively open the airplane door 4 rows back.
“Me and 5 different dudes needed to wrestle him into the aisle, duct tape his legs, and throw flexi-cuffs on him. Just safely landed again in ABQ however HOLY S**T.” American Airlines confirmed the plane was forced to return to the airport.
A man was arrested following the flight incident, with Albuquerque’s FBI division “conscious of the incident” and investigating the horror mid-flight brawl.
