Helpless gran left dangling from store shutters says ‘it might solely occur to me’
A poor gran who’s gone viral after being filmed dangling from a storefront admits it might “only happen to me”.
Shopworker Anne Hughes, 71, was hoisted 7ft into the air by the electrical shutters as she waited exterior her village retailer for it to open. Footage that is gone viral exhibits the gran being lifted off the bottom whereas nonetheless holding her purchasing trolley.

The store shared a video of the humorous incident on-line, saying: “Don’t hang about like Ann, come down to Best One to get the best deals!!! The only thing going up in this shop is our staff, not the prices!!”
Anne has been a cleaner on the standard village retailer for over 5 years. Her workmates mentioned she discovered it humorous when she noticed the CCTV footage of her shock with the shutter.
