East London police station catches hearth

A police station in east London has caught hearth as 125 firefighters are dashing in to sort out the blaze. 

Footage on social media reveals black smoke is billowing out from the Met Police station in Forest Gate whereas the constructing’s mansard roof is engulfed in flames.

Firefighters might be seen aiming water on the flames whereas sirens blare within the background as extra hearth engines attain the scene. 

London Fire Brigade mentioned on X that ‘there at the moment are 20 hearth engines and round 125 firefighters’ tackling the fireplace on Romford Road. 

The assertion added that the Brigade had three 32-metre turntable ladders in addition to two 64-metre ladders turntable ladders on the scene to assist put out the blaze.
