A swimmer tried to suck venom out of her personal toe after being bitten by the UK’s deadliest snake.
Danielle Denton was strolling barefoot alongside a cliff-top path when she stepped on what she thought was ‘heat’ canine mess.
But it turned out to be a sunbathing adder that bit her proper little toe. She tried to attract the poison out utilizing the ‘cowboy suck and spit’ technique, however ended up in hospital for per week after her leg swelled up.

Now, Danielle is warning others to not attempt to take away venom themselves in the event that they get bitten.
Danielle from Horton, close to Swansea, shared her scary story: “I had to hop a mile back. I did some shuffling on my bum because there were rocks. I was barefoot, because it was a hot day and I was only going to go swimming, and had a rubber ring in my hand.
“This adder was sunbathing on the trail and so they’re fairly camouflaged. I used to be simply trying in direction of the trail the place I used to be going and never trying on the flooring. I believed that I’d stood in poo as a result of I felt the heat and it was squidgy beneath my foot.”
She said she then noticed the bite marks.
“As I believed ‘eew poo’, it [the snake] bit me on my proper foot above my little toe. I might see blood and noticed 4 puncture marks so it will need to have performed it twice,” she mentioned.
“I was on my own and didn’t know what to do, there’s no signal here, so I tried to be a cowboy and suck it out of my own foot. It did taste nasty, I just spat it out. I didn’t know what to do.”
Danielle mentioned it took her an age to get again down the cliff. “I didn’t realise how dangerous it was, I nearly died from it,” she added.
