Psycho cats are turning people into risk-taking ‘hosts’ with street rage

Psycho cats are controlling people and making us take extra dangers in life, a boffin says.

Professor Robin May, a authorities adviser, claimed cats are passing on a typical parasite, referred to as toxoplasma, to hundreds of thousands of people. The parasites “manipulate” individuals and deal with us like rodents.

“Toxoplasma infection is two-fold higher in people who crash their cars, particularly crashes where people drive like a lunatic.

“People who run lights, break the speed limit and drive riskily are much more likely to have toxoplasma.

“We think the parasite is doing this – it’s manipulating human hosts to take more risks.

“It’s treating humans like rodents which it normally infects and trying to get them caught by cats so it can complete its life cycle.”
