Boffins are battling to cease the world’s greatest ice dice from melting and wrecking the planet.
Thwaites Glacier – a 74,000 sq. miles of frozen water on the western fringe of Antarctic – is shrinking as a result of world warming. It is dropping 50billion extra tons of ice than it receives from recent snowfall and is already liable for 4% of the world’s sea stage rise.
