PC Adam Merriman, 35, was arrested on Thursday and was later charged with the offences. 

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with three counts of creating an indecent picture of a kid, three counts of distributing an indecent picture of a kid, and resisting arrest.

PC Merriman, from Harrow, north-west London, pleaded responsible to all seven of the offences and was remanded in custody.
