This is the dramatic second a automobile crashed into Buckingham Palace gates as armed police yelled ‘hold your arms in your head’ when the motive force was arrested. 

Officers swooped in after the car rammed into the primary entrance gates of the royal residence in Westminster, central London, within the early hours of Saturday morning. 

Armed police have been seen surrounding the motive force who was on his knees as they ordered him to place his arms on his head. 

The Met Police have since confirmed a person was arrested on suspicion of felony injury.

A witness to the incident, who wished to stay nameless, stated he watched the scene unfold at round 2.30am on Saturday after listening to ‘a loud bang’.

‘I heard a loud bang, and I seemed over and the automobile had crashed into Buckingham Palace,’ he stated. 

‘Police have been on the scene fairly shortly – and so they acquired the person out and arrested him.’

The Met stated there have been no reviews of any accidents. A police spokesperson stated: ‘At roughly 02:33hrs on Saturday, 09 March a automobile collided with the gates of Buckingham Palace.

‘Armed officers arrested a person on the scene on suspicion of felony injury. He was taken to hospital.

‘There have been no reviews of any accidents. Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances.’
