John Stones sends well timed taunt to Liverpool and Arsenal over Man City dominance
John Stones has taunted title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool by reminding them Manchester City put on a gold Premier League badge on their shirts for a cause.
While the remainder of the top-flight groups don a purple and white brand on their sleeves, City’s is gold to suggest their standing as reigning champions. And after City’s epic 1-1 draw at Liverpool on Sunday, Stones stated Pep Guardiola’s gamers are decided to win a fourth straight title and guarantee they maintain the gold badge subsequent season
Stones stated: “We have the gold Premier League badges on our shirt for a reason and we want to defend that. We’re proud to be the champions and we want to do it again and again.

Reflecting on City’s hard-fought level at Anfield, Stones, who scored the opener, stated: “We obviously wanted the three points and believed we could get them out of the game.
