SpaceX prepares to launch its third Starship flight from Texas at 8am ET

Elon Musk‘s next-generation Starship is about to launch Thursday morning, with the 400-foot tall, reusable rocket hoping to blast off efficiently in its third orbital check.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cleared SpaceX for its third Starship flight on Wednesday morning.

SpaceX says it has ‘considerably expanded’ Starship’s hearth suppression programs and improved the autonomous programs that ought to have triggered the destruct command sooner.
