“Firstly with Monmiral and then with Protektorat. Then on course, later on Harry Redknapp comes along with Shakem Up‘Arry. What an outstanding day,” he added.

The treble-winning boss didn’t fare as effectively on Friday as one in all his greatest hopes of the competition in 7/2F L’Eau Du Sud was crushed by Absurde within the BetMGM County Handicap Hurdle. On a contrasting day for Redknapp too, who noticed his 18/1 outsider The Jukebox Man pipped by a nostril on the line by Stellar Story within the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdles.
