UK boozer accused of doubling up as brothel the place intercourse employees ‘had drug fee’
A British pub has been accused of doubling up as a brothel the place intercourse employees are paid in medicine.
The pub in query is the Railway Inn, 153 Manchester Road, Broadheath, Altrincham, which allegedly had a “vulnerable woman” trafficked to work there from outdoors of Trafford, police have stated. A person and a girl have been arrested in connection to the probe on suspicion of “crimes relating to controlling prostitution for gain”.
Last month, Greater Manchester Police shut the venue down. The Manchester Evening News experiences that cops and city corridor officers uncovered “significant evidence” the pub was getting used to supply “sexual services for reward”.
On February 21, a three-month closure order was dominated on by magistrates which beneath the Licensing Act 2003 noticed the council compelled to publish papers on its web site referring to the allegations.

In the papers, the city corridor alleged that girls reported to “various professionals” and had been advised “punters” had been “lined up for them”. A council officer claims the ladies had been supplied fee “in the form of drugs”.
Documents learn: “Intelligence gathered by Greater Manchester Police and Trafford Council suggested that the Railway Inn was being used as a brothel, with sex workers being trafficked to the brothel.
“At about 17:15 on the 13th February 2024 officers from Greater Manchester Police and Trafford Council attended at the premises with a search warrant obtained by the police.”
The arrested people are understood to have been bailed.

Community security and CCTV workforce chief at Trafford council, Neill Courtney stated: “Intelligence… indicates that multiple women, working as sex workers in the Manchester area, have reported to various different professionals that they have been taken to The Railway Inn.”
In an announcement, a GMP Trafford spokesperson final month: “Officers from GMP have carried out a search warrant on the Railway Pub on Manchester Road in Altrincham accompanied by colleagues from Trafford Council’s Community Safety Team.
“Significant proof was discovered on the premises indicating that the premises had been getting used to supply sexual companies for reward and a susceptible lady, trafficked from outdoors Trafford to work there was discovered on the premises.
“Two persons have been arrested for crimes relating to controlling prostitution for gain and today, the magistrates issued an order on application from the council closing the premises for three months. A review of the premises licence will now be requested.”
