Missing boy, two, tragically discovered lifeless with ‘village curse’ fears resurfacing

Remains of a toddler have been found and confirmed to belong to lacking toddler Emile Soleil.

The two-year-old disappeared from the tiny village of Le Vernet in Alpes-de-Haute in July 2023. On Saturday – nearly 9 months later – a hiker found the kid’s stays and alerted the police.

The public prosecutor’s workplace of surrounding metropolis Aix-en-Provence introduced “genetic analysis identifies” bones matching that of Emile. The police added that “criminalistic analysis” and “additional research” was being undertaken to find the yet-undetermined reason behind demise.
