  • The incident occurred on the Pear Tree Inn close to Worcester yesterday afternoon 

Counter-terror police have launched an investigation after a person was stabbed at a rustic lodge.

The sufferer, 25, was taken to hospital with a chest and hand wound after he was stabbed on the Pear Tree Inn & Country Hotel close to Worcester. He is in a steady situation. 

A 31-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily hurt and is at the moment in custody. He has since been rearrested on suspicion of tried homicide.
