Police E-fit of burglar suspect has folks speaking for all of the incorrect causes
A police E-fit of a home intruder suspect who posed as a copper has people talking for all the reasons, as some say it looks like Elon Musk.
The intruder allegedly entered a 90-year-old woman’s house in Tunbridge Wells when she was in the garden, before she bumped into him upstairs and he said he was a police officer and leaving empty-handed.
And despite the seriousness of the situation, people latched onto the computer generated image offered up by Kent Police on X, formerly Twitter.

“Investigators have released a computer generated image of a man they would like to identify in connection with a burglary in Tunbridge Wells,” the force said in a message on Musk’s platform.
And some people couldn’t help themselves pointing out the likeness between the tech billionaire and the suspected criminal.
“The resemblance is uncanny,” one woman said, comparing headshots of the two. “I’M SO GLAD SOMEONE ELSE SEES IT,” another person replied.
Another person said: “Hi @elonmusk is this you?”
Others compared the images to Jay Cartwright from the Inbetweeners and even to Professor Brian Cox.
“Found him for you lads,” one man wrote alongside a picture of Cox.
Another person joked: “Give the person who does these for you a big raise. The work on the bangs alone is just brilliant.”
It comes after TV star Rylan was forced to deny he’s wanted by police after a ‘lookalike’ e-fit was released.
Kent Police published an appeal on Monday (April 29) after an attempted robbery in Maidstone earlier last month.
The force attached an e-fit image, showing a man with dark hair and a full beard. The picture was then circulated on X where some people suggested it looked like Rylan.
So the former X Factor contestant decided to go public and clear his name, posting the appeal and adding: “Wasn’t me.”
