Dua Lipa ‘invitations Cyndi Lauper to affix her at Glastonbury’
She released her third studio album Radical Optimism on Friday.
But Dua Lipa, 28, has already shifted her focus to Glastonbury in June where she will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the Friday headliner.
On the night, she is expected to perform the new tracks from the album alongside her biggest hits such as Levitating and New Rules.
However, a source has told The Sun that fans of Dua won’t only have her new songs to get excited about.
Dua is reportedly in talks with pop and dance legend Cyndi Lauper to join her onstage at Worthy Farm.

It has been reported that Dua will invite two-time Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper, 70, to join her as she makes her Pyramid Stage debut

Explaining why Dua wants Cyndi, the source said: ‘Dua is raring to go for Glastonbury and she can’t wait for people to hear her new music.
‘She knows the record will strike a chord with her fans but for the old school muso’s at the Farm, she wants a touch of nostalgia.
‘Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, who worked on Radical Optimism with Dua is another. She wants this set to go down in history.’

And Dua has a good chance of Cyndi granting her wish as the legend is known for supporting young female talent.
She took to Instagram to celebrate Alicia Keys’ fourteenth Tony win and just on Thursday, Cyndi, 70, joined America rapper Nicki Minaj onstage.
Radical Optimism has already spawned hit singles Houdini and Training Season and its third and final single Illusion was released in April. It has 11 tracks in total.

The three-time Grammy Award winner revealed that the album will be called Radical Optimism and will be available to stream or purchase from May 3
The album has been described by Rolling Stone as ‘pop bliss’ and ‘uniquely and utterly Dua Lipa’ (pictured: album cover)
Radical Optimism follows Dua’s debut album Dua Lipa, released in 2017, and Future Nostalgia, released in 2020.
Inspired by Dua’s own self-discovery, Radical Optimism taps into the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face.
Infused with the energy of Dua’s hometown, London, the attitude of the album embodies the rawness, honesty, confidence and freedom of ‘90s Britpop.
Radical Optimism transports its listener to a dreamy pop world that is rich in musicality, lyrically unapologetic, and sonically liberating.
Dua shared: ‘A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism.
‘It’s a concept that resonated with me, and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life.
‘It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm.
‘At the same time, I found myself looking through the music history of psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop.
‘It has always felt so confidently optimistic to me, and that honesty and attitude is a feeling I took into my recording sessions.’

Dua worked with a team of core collaborators throughout the project including Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Kevin Parker.
In March, Dua opened the BRIT Awards with an electric performance of Training Season and subsequently took home her 7th BRIT Award for Best Pop Act.
She also opened the Grammy Awards, where she performed a medley of Training Season, Dance The Night and Houdini.
Dua recently became the first female artist to have four songs reach two billion streams on Spotify, achieved with One Kiss, Don’t Start Now, New Rules and Levitating.
