Woman wins £100k Porsche in Omaze Draw – there’s only one downside
A woman scooped an amazing jackpot that saw her handed the keys to a supercar on the “best day of her life” – but she can’t yet drive the thing.
Despite still pottering about under guidance with ‘L’ plates on, Phoebe Kneller, 23, has managed to bag herself a Porsche worth £100,000 as an early-bird prize in the Omaze Million Pound House Draw.
Phoebe may be unable to cruise around in her German motor just yet but it was still a remarkable day for the Salisbury lass as she won it on the same day she landed her dream job.

She’d recently quit as a receptionist and had applied to work as a healthcare assistant – and she found out she’d been successful at about the same time as she was given the keys to the Porsche Taycan 45.
Her boyfriend Josh, 25, said he was happy to stick with his 11-year-old Skoda Octavia, although he’d happily play “passenger princess” when Phoebe gets her licence.
That idea looks pretty short-lived, though, with Phoebe planning to sell the Porsche to help buy a house. The pair were in Tenerife when the two bits of good news came through.
“On the day I got the call from Omaze we were in the middle of moving hotels, as we’d woken up with an unwanted guest in our room – a massive cockroach,” she said.
“So my day hadn’t got off to the best start, but then Omaze told me I’d won a brand new Porsche.
“Just after Omaze called, I also found out I’d got the job I’d applied for – it really was the best day of my life.”
Phoebe’s driving test is this month, so if all goes to plan she’ll be behind the wheel of her snazzy new car before too long.
“It’s fair to say I never expected my first car to be a £100,000 Porsche – I was thinking more along the lines of a Ford Fiesta,” she said.
“As lovely as the car is, I’m going to sell it and use the money to buy a little second-hand car and then put the rest towards a deposit for a house – and maybe a holiday in Jamaica as I’ve always dreamed of going there.”
Online entries for the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Dorset, close on Monday, May 27, and postal entries close on Wednesday, May 29.
