Tragedy for household as 15-year-old lady dies in automotive accident

A family has suffered another tragedy after a 15-year-old girl has died in a car accident just a few years after her brothers died aged 13 and 16 in separate incidents.
Molly Dempsey, 15, was killed in a single-vehicle crash just before 5am on May 5 in Baltinglass, in the Irish county of Wicklow.
She was a passenger in the car that crashed and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency services. No one else was seriously injured in the crash.
Gardai arrested the male teenage driver was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Road Traffic Act. He was detained at a garda station but has since been released.
Molly’s older brother Roy died aged just 13 in September 2007 and the family lost another child when Killian, 16, passed away in May 2016, the Irish Independent reports.

In the 15-year-old’s funeral notice, her family wrote: ‘Beloved sister of the late Roy and Killian. Sadly missed by her broken-hearted parents Nigel and Mary, brothers Joe, Charlie and Jake, sisters Laura, Yvonne and Ella, grandmothers May (Fox) and Dolly (Dempsey) uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and many friends.’
Her friends have described Molly has a ‘beautiful angel’ and tributes to the girl were posted on social media, in which mourners offered their support to the Dempsey family.
Molly’s funeral will be held at the family home on Friday morning, with a Requiem Mass at St Joseph’s Church in Baltinglass at 11am followed by Molly being laid to rest at the local cemetery.
Meanwhile gardai appealed for any witnesses to the collision and asked for people to check their CCTV or dashcam footage of the Slaney Park area between 4.30am and 5am on Sunday morning.
