Harry Kane’s ‘heartbreaking’ European exit response caught by TNT Sports cameras
TNT Sport cameras caught the moment Harry Kane realised his first season with Bayern Munich would finish trophyless.
Kane could only watch on from the Bayern bench as Premier League flop Joselu netted twice to send Real Madrid to the Champions League final. In a clip shared on social media, Kane could be sinking into his seat as he placed his head in his hands.
Bayern have now gone trophyless for the first time since the 11/12 season. And football fans couldn’t help but feel for Kane.

“Kane’s reaction at the full time whistle tells you everything how gutted he was. He has scored 44 goals in his first season for Bayern but once again fell short from winning his first trophy,” one fan said. While a second replied: “Tuchel shouldn’t have subbed him, I feel sorry for him…”
“It’s just so sad to see, especially for a player of his calibre,” a third admitted. And another added: “His team-mates and manager let him down! Without him they would be mid table!”

“He has done his job. He has scored the goals,” Champions League winner Rio Ferdinand told TNT Sports after the game. “They brought him to continue winning trophies and I feel the others have let him down more than anything. I think he will have a heavy heart tonight.”
While former Bayern midfielder Owen Hargreaves added: “I feel so sorry for Kane. What a superstar he has been and he doesn’t have an opportunity [ to play in the Champions League final].
“Poor guy. He has been amazing this season and that just didn’t go to plan in the last 10 minutes.”
Kane had been subbed off for the final ten minutes, being replaced by Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting as part of a series of changes to try to see out the match.
