Manchester United’s defence hasn’t been the only thing leaking this season.
Arsenal’s stars were forced to dodge water pouring from the ceiling after a torrential downpour hit Old Trafford in the final minutes of their Premier League clash. The Gunners got the job done in Manchester, beating the Red Devils 1-0.
But they were met with a soggy reception in the changing rooms, when leaked footage showed water coming from the ceiling. Manchester had basked in sunshine on Sunday until the thunderstorms arrived – pilling more onto a miserable afternoon for United.

The Red Devils’ problems with Old Trafford were laid bare as a waterfall emerged through the roof. United’s leaky roof has been mocked by fans in previous months – while their ageing gantry has also been subject of jokes.
“Old Trafford is falling down,” has been sung across the country by numerous clubs. Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be hoping to nip that in the bud as, according to reports, he looks to rebuild the famous stadium.
