Daughter shares photograph of father’s telephone lock display screen – and individuals are in stitches

A dad has been labelled ‘adorable’ over what he has as his mobile phone lock screen.

The father decided to whip up a homemade pizza, and was so chuffed with his culinary creation that he decided to make it as his phone background, leaving his daughter – and many other – in stitches.

His daughter, named Lolita, spilled the beans on X (formerly Twitter), posting: “My dad made himself a homemade pizza the other day and hasn’t stopped talking about it. Since then, I just found his phone and he’s made it his lock screen.”

The snap of the cheesy masterpiece indeed took pride of place as his dad’s phone.

Lolita’s post has now been shared on a Facebook meme page too, going viral and bagging more than 30,000 likes. The caption read: “Looks like art to me,” and people were left giggling, calling the dad’s gesture “adorable”.

Comments flooded in with one user gushing: “That’s actually adorable!” While another said: “I love this, I’d do the same.” A third chimed in: “Peak dad goals.” Others also said their own dads would totally do something similar.

Meanwhile, in other pizza-related news, another bloke on Reddit recently vented about being charged an eye-watering $137.66 (£109) for a pizza in Aspen. The post sparked outrage as people claimed he’d been ‘scammed’.

One gobsmacked person commented: “What the hell, can you ask your card company for a chargeback or something? This seems like a complete scam. I don’t care where you are, it shouldn’t cost over $100 for two tiny ‘pizzas’.”

While another wrote: “I make pizzas at an Italian fine dining restaurant. The most expensive pizza we sell costs 25 bucks, cuz you know it’s pizza. Dough, sauce and cheese should never be that expensive.”
