Leeds fan’s Emma Jones mattress cowl from girlfriend has BBC star asking query

Emma Louise Jones was left asking one question when she saw a fan’s bed cover with her face plastered all over it.

Emma, 34, is often praised for her social media antics – having lots of friendly banter with fans. However, one fan took his admiration for the BBC Sports host a bit too far, unveiling a bed cover slapped with snaps of the blonde bombshell.

Alongside Emma was a Leeds logo – who she supports and has covered in her career – and their motto: “All Leeds aren’t we!” The fan shared the image on social media, and he captioned the snap: “I smile every night getting into bed. [The] missus had this made for me.”

However, other fans weren’t too impressed with the sheets, suggesting they were “rather creepy” in the comments on Facebook. “Call it off. We deserve nothing but failure,” a second joked.

But Emma herself didn’t seem too bothered by the bedsheet, and after seeing a snap on X, formerly known as Twitter, asked: “Do I get a discount?” Another fan quickly replied: “You deserve royalties!”

Emma often receives ‘creepy’ DMs from fans, and speaking to OK, she said: “I used to occasionally screenshot some of the explicit messages that I received and put them on an Instagram story and the reaction showed me that there was a place to talk about this.

“I knew that people needed to hear about this because people’s replies were more often than not ‘I didn’t realise that this was happening.”

“I’m taking back control and it also raises awareness of what I think is a very real problem that a lot of people endure every day online.

“If there’s a feeling that you’re going to be disciplined in your actions, then a certain kind of person might think not to do it. If you can do something and get away with it, you might be more inclined to behave in a different manner to how you’d act on the street.”

The presenter also often exposes the worst of her DMs with comedy skits online – known as her ‘DM hotline’ – in which she reads out a variety of X-rated and at times downright offensive messages and offers advice for those who send them.
