Three guards ‘shot lifeless’ in dramatic jail break ambush with inmate on the run

A prisoner is on the run after three guards transporting him were shot dead.

Armed men swooped on a vehicle at around 11am at the Incarville tollbooth in Northern France on Tuesday.

In the shocking ambush, three prison officers were killed allowing for the escape of fugitive detainee, Mohamed A. who is known to French courts for drug trafficking.

According to reports, the gunmen and fugitive fled the tollbooth in two vehicles, one of which has since been burnt out.
