Meghan Markle sports activities white trousers and brown coat as she lands in LAX

Meghan Markle has been snapped sporting tight white jeans and a brown jacket at LAX airport in Los Angeles.

The 42-year-old and her husband Prince Harry, 39, arrived at the airport following a marathon 18-hour flight from Nigeria.

The couple who left left Abuja yesterday following a three-day visit, were photographed getting into a car at the airport’s ‘Private Suites’ facility.

According to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their semi-royal tour was ‘fantastic’, with the couple adding that it will be the ‘first of many memorable trips’.

Images of the couple show Meghan sporting a pair of fitted, cropped white jeans – a style she has favoured multiple times in the past.

She paired the trousers with a brown linen and wool mix blazer from Loro Piana, called the Jamilla, that retails for around £2,900.

The double-breasted blazer from the upmarket Italian brand is designed to have an oversized cut, longline silhouette and notched lapels.

Underneath her jacket, the Duchess donned a cashmere and silk mix sweater, called the Takao Jumper, also from Loro Piana.

The pricey top costs £990. According to the brand: ‘In the poetry of colour, our collection weaves a tapestry of calm, grounded ease, painting the canvas with neutral, earthy tones.

‘A short-sleeved cashmere-and-silk crew neck with a regular fit that falls to the hips. The patterned stitching is reminiscent of the Argyle style, adding a timeless touch of sophistication.’

Meghan co-ordinated the ensemble with a pair of £815 Chris canvas and leather slippers from Yves Saint Laurent in the gold brown colourway.

The two-tone shoes are described as offering the wearer ‘everyday glamour’, with an ‘elegant silhouette’ and golden hardwear.

Mother-of-two Meghan wore her long black tresses loose, and tumbling down her back.

The statement said: ‘Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex concluded their unforgettable trip to Nigeria with a cultural reception in Lagos and a polo match fundraiser for Nigeria: Unconquered.

‘The couple was greeted with a beautiful pre-game parade – a vibrant display of young enthusiasts in polo gear, proudly waving the green and white flags of Nigeria – followed by a procession of older children on horseback, setting the tone for a day filled with sport and spirit.

‘The friendly rivalry between the teams, aptly named Duke vs Duchess, added a layer of excitement to the event, with the Duchess’s team claiming victory with a score of 5-3.

‘The day was capped off with the couple presenting medals, a gesture of appreciation for the players’ prolific talent and dedication.

‘The Duke and Duchess would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all the event organisers, military officials and the whole Nigerian community for their tremendous hospitality and the first of many memorable trips.’
