‘Trolls say I’ll go to hell over tattoos – however Jesus would love my ink’

A tattoo ‘addict’ mum claims Jesus would ‘love’ her ink – but trolls say she’ll ‘burn in hell’.

Melissa Sloan – known as Britain’s most tattooed mum – turned to Christianity after long-time partner Luke was on his ‘last legs’ in hospital.

The mum-of-seven claimed that her bed-side prayer provided a miracle to Luke’s health and Melissa has been a believer ever since. That’s despite her being ‘chucked’ out of church for her 800 plus inkings (and singing).

Although trolls call her a sinner, Melissa believes that Jesus would love her tattoos – and would even be inspired by her skin doodles.

Melissa says Jesus would like her face ink

Speaking to Daily Star, Melissa shared: “I get messages saying I’ll go to hell when I pass because they say Jesus won’t accept me for what I look like – because I’m a sinner.

“People online say I’ll go to hell and burn. I just think they’re off their rockers, I’m open arms me. Jesus would love me, he loves everyone. We’re all God’s children apparently.

“I think Jesus would like my tattoos, maybe Jesus could have some on his face like me. He’d probably get a cross, a crucifix. I’d be there, tattooing him up – that would be different!”

Melissa is a Christian but was ‘banned’ from church

Unfortunately for Melissa, she won’t be able to attend church any time soon due to being banned from the house of God.

This is not the first time Melissa has been targeted by trolls. Previously, she opened up about how people even stop her on the street on call her a ‘freak’ – in front of her kids.

And in 2023, she had tattooed her face so much that Melissa started to turn blue. It didn’t take long for online bullies to label Melissa as a ‘smurf’.

She’s celebrating Easter a little different to most

The mum has run into a number of issues due to her face ink, like not being able to land a job for years. Melissa – who relies on benefits – admitted that she would even clean toilets or would love to live out her dream of being a lawyer.

But no one will give her a chance. However, the Daily Star team was able to assist Melissa on her pursuit to be served as they took her along to a Wetherspoons to see if her alleged universal pub ‘ban’ would be lifted.
