Harry Kane injured as England captain ‘cannot journey’ earlier than Euro 2024

Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Harry Kane will miss the final Bundesliga game of the season through injury.

Tuchel confirmed that the England captain has left Germany to receive treatment on a back injury and will miss Bayern’s last game against Hoffenheim on Saturday.

Kane’s injury comes ahead of Gareth Southgate naming his preliminary England squad on Tuesday for Euro 2024 in Germany which kicks off next month. The severity of the 30-year-old’s injury is unknown, with him to receive treatment from his personal doctor.
