Tattoo followers spot awkward drawback with ‘inspirational’ inking on girl’s again

A woman’s inspirational quote tattoo has gone viral, but not for the reasons she might have hoped.

The tattoo artist seems to have made a significant spelling mistake in the quote, which reads: “Stay strong – no matter wath happens.” An image of her back was shared on Reddit with the humorous caption: “Wath in the wordl.”

The error has left people in stitches, despite the unfortunate situation for the woman involved. After all, tattoos are permanent, so we want them to be as perfect as possible. Sadly, this wasn’t the case for this poor lady.

The blunder has sparked conversation among hundreds of people who can’t fathom how such a mistake could occur. Many were simply incredulous at the sight.

While some labelled it a “weird error”, others struggled to comprehend it. But, everyone makes mistakes, right?

One person commented: “This has to be ironic.” Another suggested: “Hold on let me offer a different perspective. Read the message. Maybe this was intentional and a bit of humour? Those Ps are horrible tho lol.”

A third responded: “I choose to believe that was intentional, if stupid.”

Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Error aside, I don’t see why you would tattoo the most boring, generic phrase on your body. I can’t even call that a ‘saying’; it’s just a flat, vaguely positive statement.”

Tattoo blunders are nothing new, and over the years we’ve seen a fair share of ink disasters that have left people regretting their decisions.

Take for instance, back in 2022, when a woman was left in tears after mistakenly getting the word “meow” tattooed on the outside of her lip instead of the inside. The hilarious mishap was shared on TikTok, racking up hundreds of thousands of views as stunned viewers questioned how she didn’t notice the tattoo artist’s mistake.

Wilma Hagglund had intended to have the word inked on the inside of her lip, only visible when she pulled down her lip. However, it seems the tattoo artist missed the brief, as the word ended up on the outside of her lip, making “meow” clearly visible to everyone.

In a TikTok post written in Swedish, Wilma expressed her frustration: “He tattooed on the wrong place in my f****** mouth”, before revealing the original design of a woman with the word on the inside of her lip.

When it comes to tattoos, not everything goes according to plan, so it’s always wise to be extra careful. After all, they’re pretty permanent!
