Chrissy Teigen and John Legend slammed as ‘entitled’ over viral TikTok

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been slammed as ‘entitled’ after a viral, since-deleted TikTok showed the couple seemingly ‘kicking out’ a group of girls from a photo booth.

The model, 38, and All Of Me singer, 45, had attended the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party in NYC on Thursday where the incident was claimed to have taken place.

In the original reel, per TMZ, the TikTok user could be seen posing inside a photo station at the event with two other guests – with one of them also posting a snippet from the interaction.

The text added over the deleted video read: ‘John Legend & Chrissy Teigen just kicked us out of the photo booth after we waited 30 mins to get pics.’

The nearly 30-second video then showed both Teigen and Legend stepping into the booth to also grab a few memorable snaps during the night – seemingly before the group was finished.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Chrissy and John’s reps for comment.

At the beginning of the reel, the trio were seen striking a few poses as they took pictures inside the booth as music played in the background.

John’s voice could be heard offscreen as he said, ‘We’re gonna sneak in if you don’t mind.’

One of the girls appeared to say ‘Okay,’ as the performer stepped in first and seemingly gestured to the exit with his finger.

He then stepped in with Chrissy and the pair stood behind the group as they prepared to gather their belongings before leaving the booth.

The singer-songwriter appeared to tell the TikTok user and her friends to ‘take all your time,’ before they left.

The clip then cut to the couple watching the girls as they collected their things, and at one point, Legend leaned in close to his wife to say a few words into her ear.

The reel concluded with one of the girls trying to print out the photos that had just been taking but announced, ‘Wait, I’m so sorry, I did it wrong.’

While seemingly still having issues, the TikTok user called out, ‘Oh my gosh!’ and Legend lightly replied with, ‘Oh no, oh no, oh no.’

Another typed out, ‘Would’ve said actually I do mind cause what,’ and one added, ‘That’s on y’all bc I personally would’ve stayed.

One also wrote, ‘Don’t they have like a billion pics of themselves? Probably have a booth in their house.’

While the viral video has since been taken down, the TikTok user uploaded another video of Chrissy and John as they sat at a table inside the venue where the star-studded bash was held.

And on the social media user’s main Instagram page, she also shared a photo of herself posing with the All Of Me singer during the night.

Teigen and Legend were just one of many celebrities at the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party in celebration of its 60th anniversary.

Chrissy notably was one of the models that landed on the cover, as well as Kate Upton, Gayle King and Hunter McGrady.

The star wore a silver, rhinestone-embellished top as well as a matching, gold miniskirt.

She also slipped into a pair of open-toed, strappy heels and allowed her brunette locks to flow down in light waves past her shoulders. And John wore a stylish black suit which was paired with a white shirt as well as sleek, black dress shoes.

The since-deleted TikTok comes three years after Chrissy’s bullying scandal in 2021 – which she apologized for.

In June 2021, she penned a blog post to say sorry for her past bullying tweets including one which told then-16-year-old Courtney Stodden to commit suicide.

At the time, Teigen admitted to being a ‘troll’ and an ‘a**hole’ while insisting that she is ‘no longer that person.’

She had come under fire for cruel posts on Twitter aimed at Stodden, Lindsay Lohan, Quvenzhané Wallis, and others.

Amid the backlash at the time, Teigen was dropped by several companies, including Safely, the cleaning brand she founded with Kris Jenner, Macy's, Target and Bloomingdale's; seen in NYC on May 7

In 2011, Teigen published a barrage of tweets telling then-16-year-old Stodden, who had just married 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, to ‘go to sleep forever’.

Stodden said this was only part of the picture, saying Teigen would also ‘privately DM me and tell me to kill myself.’

Old tweets from 2013 have also resurfaced in which she described nine-year-old Oscar nominee Wallis as ‘cocky’ and called Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, then 21, a ‘wh***’.

Teigen apologized to Stodden, but the television personality, who identifies as non-binary, questioned the sincerity of the apology.

Abraham said Teigen needs professional help over her ‘highly disturbing’ past tweets, and calls her an ‘unfit person in society.’

‘It’s really just a pathetic statement after someone has gone to therapy publicly for sex shaming, working through my own depression, bereavement, and vulnerabilities at that time,’ Abraham told Fox News.

In her post, Teigen wrote that she planned to reach out personally to the other celebrities she insulted.

Teigen was the target of backlash since the abusive tweets by the star, originally made in 2011, resurfaced online.

Lohan was also the subject of an insensitive post by Teigen. A tweet from January 2011 read: ‘Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees emma stone.’
