Premier League followers swoon over Kudus’ ‘gorgeous’ bicycle kick towards Man City

Football fans have been left picking their jaws up off the ground as Mohammed Kudus netted an incredible bicycle kick on the final day of the season.

Manchester City had seemingly been heading towards a routine victory – and their fourth Premier League title on the bounce. However, the Ghanaian had other ideas, netting a bicycle kick just before half-time.

Kudus flicked the ball up, with his back to goal, and slammed it past a stranded Stefan Ortega. “We have two fabulous goals already today! One at Chelsea and now another at City! Let’s hope for more in the second half,” one fan said on social media.

“Special player – at least one more season please,” a West Ham fan begged. While a third shared: “Wow. F*** me. He knew full well what he was doing with that!”

“Has goal of the season ever been decided on the final day before,” a fourth questioned. And another added: “He’s going to do special things next season!”

The Hammers had been well off the pace on Sunday afternoon – with Phil Foden’s double placing one hand of the Premier League trophy for City. Erling Haaland could, and probably should, have increased City’s advantage within in the opening 30 minutes.

Kevin De Bruyne came close too as City’s slickers controlled the game at a canter. West Ham were reduced to chasing shadows, and it was a moment of magic that dragged the Hammers back into the game.

Arsenal fans will have had one eye on the clash, needing David Moyes’ side to do them a favour if they were to win the Premier League this season. The Gunners would also have to get the job done against Everton in north London.
