Henry Hoover changed into speedy bike – and individuals are determined to attempt it

A Henry Hoover has been given a wild makeover into a mini motorbike, and folks are buzzing over the idea that cruising on this cleaning kit “beats using public transport”.

The TikTok from user @awesometoaster, which was shared on Reddit, left users gobsmacked with the vacuum’s transformation. It’s been kitted out with an engine at the base and pimped-up wheels, turning it into a nippy alternative to walking.

The vacuum’s original power button is now a kill switch for the engine, as the genius behind the creation disclosed. To get the motor running, there’s a pull chain at the back, and a tinier wheel has been slapped on the front to keep things steady.

The clip hit the r/CasualUK subreddit, captioned: “Still beats using public transport.”

Reddit users reckon the cheeky face of the Henry Hoover fits perfectly with its new role as a ride-on. One user quipped: “Henry always looks like he’s up to mischief.”

Another said: “Looks absolutely lethal. Gizza go!” Some even called for these hoover bikes to take over from trendy e-scooters, saying: “Petition to have e-scooters replaced with electric versions of these.”

Awesometoaster hinted at more tweaks to come for the DIY hoover bike, including a plush seat. After a TikTok user commented: “No seat cushion I would rather go to hell,” the inventor responded: “It’s coming! Sewing isn’t my strongest skill.”

Despite being revamped with wheels and a new engine, the vacuum can still carry out its primary function – although this might not be advisable. In reply to an inquiry over whether it “kept the ability to vacuum” the inventor confirmed it did, but warned that using it as a regular hoover would “eventually destroy the engine”.
