‘I can solely orgasm when I’ve missionary intercourse – it makes me really feel so boring’
A woman can only achieve orgasm when she has missionary sex – and she’s really worried about it.
Everyone experiences hurdles in the bedroom now and then, but it’s always a worry when you think you’re “boring”. Though it’s probably not the case, our beliefs can lead to hindering our intimate moments.
That’s why one woman recently turned to Reddit for advice due to the fact that she only ever orgasms when in one position. It’s started to cause her to worry – and she’s desperate for a little guidance.

Writing on the platform, the anonymous woman said: “After been reading so many posts in here about how it seems most women orgasm from oral [or manual stimulation], I feel so boring and inadequate.
“I can only orgasm through missionary position and if I [touch] myself. That’s it. I can come very easily this way, but I wish I could orgasm [from oral or manual stimulation].
“I don’t know if there are any tips for me? I am in my fourties, so it’s not about ‘wait and see’.”

Since she opened up about the matter, many people have reached out to her. Many were keen to offer advice about how she can spice things up. They also worked to reassure her she isn’t “boring”.
One person said: “You are not boring. Your body feels its best, and can reach that point during missionary. That’s just the way your body is. Nothing wrong with that! Don’t feel bad about that.”
Another added: “I used to think something was wrong with me too! A good percentage of women need clitoral stimulation to orgasm.
“When I learned that I was so excited and leaned in to the ways that my body does respond during sex, and it’s made everything so much more fun and satisfying! You are absolutely not boring or inadequate, you’re actually pretty normal!”
A third replied: “There’s nothing wrong with you. I mainly finish in a prone position. We’re all different so we can’t compare what works for us to someone else. You’re perfectly fine!”
Others were quick to offer a few tips, and said adding some new moves into the mix may make a difference. Some even suggested some other fun ways to take things up a notch.
One person said: “Try with something that doesn’t differ too much from missionary. The bow.” Meanwhile, another chimed in with: “Try another position but introduce a vibrator to those other positions only. Or do it in a spontaneous place. “
