Man City icon could have performed final recreation for champions as rivals eye switch
Manchester City icon Ederson is reportedly considering a surprise switch this summer.
Fresh off helping City secure their fourth consecutive Premier League trophy, the goalkeeper’s time at the Etihad Stadium may be coming to an end. The 30-3ear-old shot stopper has been a key figure in Manchester since transferring from Benfica in 2017.
Despite being Pep Guardiola’s go-to man between the sticks for seven years, reports suggest he may be on the move come the next transfer window.

Renowned football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, highlighted the “possibility” of Ederson departing from the Etihad this summer, stating the Brazilian goalie may entertain a “good proposal”.
Clubs in the Saudi Pro League have already expressed interest in signing Ederson, who will ultimately make the final decision on his venture to new pastures, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Bought for £35million from Benfica, Ederson extended his contract last year till 2026, indicating he is nearing the conclusion of his agreement with the Citizens.
The goalie was absent from City’s final day triumph over West Ham, which clinched the Premier League title, due to an eye socket injury sustained in last week’s victory over Tottenham Hotspur. Consequently, he will also miss the FA Cup final against Manchester United this weekend, meaning he may have already played his last game for City.
Speculation began earlier this month that Ederson could attract attention this summer. Clubs from the Saudi Pro League were said to be interested in him, with rival Liverpool’s own Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson also named as a possible target.
