REVEALED: Details of Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll’s prenup emerge
Rory McIlroy is set to keep his $22million Florida mansion and most of his golfing fortune as details of his and Erica Stoll’s prenup have emerged amid the end of the couple’s seven-year marriage.
McIlroy stunned fans by filing for divorce from his wife, with whom he shares daughter Poppy, 4, on the eve of last week’s PGA Championship, with reports claiming his marriage to Stoll has reached ‘breaking point’.
According to The New York Post, the 13,000-square-foot property in Jupiter belongs to McIlroy as per the prenup, though he is not expected to stay put.
It is believed the Northern Irishman will hand over the keys to Stoll while he searches for a new pad, in order to provide a stable home for their four-year-old daughter Poppy.
The couple are said to have been living separate lives for the past two years due to the golf star being away from home for tournaments so frequently, which has caused a strain on their relationship.

As a result, the pair are now set to divorce after the bombshell filing was made last week – leading to discussions over who will keep hold of certain assets.
McIlroy and Stoll signed a prenup when they tied the knot back in 2017, and reports suggest the former has a right to keep their lavish $22million Florida mansion thanks to that agreement.
The divorce filing reportedly calls for shared custody and a parenting plan to be established for Poppy.
McIlroy purchased the Jupiter, Florida home inside the guard-gated Bear’s Club golf community from golf legend Ernie Els for a staggering $11m back in 2012. It is now believed to be worth double.
The home resides on 2.4 acres of highly desired land and is believed to have 10 bathrooms in addition to the nine bedrooms across the property.
The home was built in 2002 and was previously owned by former PGA star Els. The South African golfer is a former World No 1, like McIlroy, and is a four-time major champion, also the same as the Northern Irishman who bought the incredible home from him.
The South Florida residence also boasts a luxury infinity pool, as well as a games room, tennis court, home theater, recording studio and state-of-the-art gym. The 13,000-square-foot home also has a six-car garage.
McIlroy has earned an estimated $87m in winnings on the PGA Tour over the course of his career, however Stoll may not be entitled to half of his fortune despite penning the prenup.

In Florida, where the couple are situated, is not considered a community property state, meaning a judge will decide how to divide marital debt using the state’s equitable distribution laws.
McIlroy’s attorney in the divorce case is listed as Thomas Sasser, the same lawyer who represented Tiger Woods when his ex-wife Elin Nordegren split from him in 2010.
Nordegren ended up walking away from her marriage to Woods with $100m, which was just one-sixth of his golf fortune.
McIlroy’s divorce from Stoll comes amid rumors of a potential romance with CBS sports journalist Amanda Balionis.
DailyMail.com revealed earlier this week that McIlroy’s relationship with CBS’s 19th Hole reporter is the talk of the links and has left many fans wondering just how close the pair have become.
Balionis was tasked with interviewing the 35-year-old after he won the Wells Fargo Championship in North Carolina on Mother’s Day earlier this month, and their chemistry on camera only intensified speculation.
She pointed out that he was wearing his ‘Mother’s Day’ pink, though while she asked him to pay tribute to his mother, Rosie, she did not extend the same invitation about Stoll.
Balionis’ wedding ring was notably absent in photos from her recent interview with McIlroy at the Wells Fargo Championship on May 11. She is married to college football coach Bryn Renner

‘What gear did you have to find to assert your dominance once more over Quail Hollow?’ the 34-year-old asked, looking through her lashes as McIlroy beamed back at her.
They stood close. She teased out details of his string of wins.
Later, she asked him to tell her: ‘Physically how good your game feels,’ and fans could be forgiven for wondering just what ‘game’ the blushing reporter was referencing.
Barely 24 hours later, news broke that McIlroy had filed for divorce from wife of seven years Erica Stoll, 36.
But standing in the Charlotte sunshine on May 11, McIlroy appeared happy to bask in this clear adoration.
Fans have also been questioning the status of Balionis’s two-year marriage to college football coach-turned tech company account manager Bryn Renner.
The sports journalist and former University of North Carolina quarterback got engaged in 2021 and married in 2022.
In recent appearances Balionis has not been wearing her wedding band, with the ring nowhere to be seen on social media in February.
And while neither party has filed for divorce, the reporter has switched her X username from her married moniker of Balionis Renner back to her maiden name of Balionis.

Yet insiders have told MailOnline the Northern Ireland golfer is not afraid to take decisive action once he feels a relationship has run its course.
One said: ‘When he decides it’s over it’s a really clinical decision, he’s not scared of confronting that decision.
‘He’s not shy of saying it and dealing with it even if there is overlap with something else, like a major competition or anything else.
‘He is ruthless on the golf course and in real life and if he sees that his relationship is going wrong he’s not shy about ending it and moving on.’
McIIroy himself – who was also once linked with Meghan Markle before her marriage to Prince Harry – has admitted to being ‘a pretty selfish person’ for ‘a long time’.
