Hideous City howler items Alejandro Garnacho objective for Man Utd in FA Cup closing

Alejandro Garnacho was gifted a goal during Manchester United’s FA Cup final with Manchester City.

United and City took their local rivalry to Wembley on Saturday afternoon – and it was the Red Devils to draw first blood at the home of football. Garnacho beat Pep Guardiola’s offside trap, timing his run to perfection to chase onto the ball.

However, he was beaten to the header by Josko Gvardiol, who tried to cushion the header into the hands of Stefan Ortega. The German, though, was in no man’s land, and he watched the ball loop over his head, allowing Garnacho to roll the ball into the net.

“City fans didn’t lie when they said Gvardiol is the best LB itw. Thank you,” one United fan joked. While a second said: “City have slept-walked into this, have just been going through the motions. Should be a lively last 60 mins!”
