UK seaside double stabbing kills girl as homicide probe launched

A manhunt has been launched after woman was killed and a second left fighting for her life after a double stabbing on a British beach.

Police have launched a murder investigation after the horror attack on Durley Chine beach in Bournemouth on Friday night.

Emergency services were called to the beach at 11.24pm on Friday night after two people were stabbed.

A 34-year-old woman from Poole was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A second woman, 38, also from Poole was rushed to hospital with ‘very serious injuries’, a spokesman added.

The next of kin of both women have been made aware. The beach has been cordoned off as cops comb the area for clues, but no arrests have yet been made. Detectives have appealed for witnesses.

“I would ask anyone who saw what happened or has any information about the offender to please contact us urgently. The beach has been cordoned off to enable officers to conduct a thorough investigation of the scene.
