‘Inventive’ canine dispenses personal poo luggage from its bum after consuming complete roll

A pesky pooch inadvertently started dispensing his own poo bags after scoffing a whole roll which slowly made its way out the other end.

The dog luckily lived to have his ordeal shared all over Reddit. In a post asking for the weirdest things found stuck up bums, the thread quickly filled with reams of gruesome stories which we won’t go into today.

However, a more PG response from one user said: “I’m a vet. Dog had eaten a whole roll of poop bags (the plastic baggies people use to clean up after their pets on walks).

“They unspooled in his gut and spread from stomach to colon.

“His owners realized what had happened when he started pooping out bags, and brought him in through ER.

“My coworker went in to cut him, and the scene she described was hilarious: he would intermittently strain a little, and poop out a little section of bags.

“Someone would tear them off, and he’d be ok for a bit then poop out some more. Like he was dispensing them for himself! He did great after surgery.”

The post attracted scores of responses including one that said: “I was picturing a clown pulling a neverending ribbon from his mouth.”

Another said: “He may have accidentally invented the bag dispensing poop dispenser… this dog is an inventor!”

One advised people to contact a vet in such situations but added: “If you are going to deal with it yourself then you’re better off waiting it out and just cutting it so it’s not dangling when it dispenses more.”

Another agreed adding: “This is what we had to do in the 90s when our cat ate the tinsel off the tree. We’d have to sneak up behind him and trim his trailing butt tinsel.”
