Warnock savages groundsman, interviews one other then fires pictures on social media
Neil Warnock had a brilliant exchange with Wembley groundsmen after he was drowned out by a lawnmower on live TV.
The managerial legend was a pundit for Sky Sports during their coverage of the Championship play-off final on Sunday (May 27) as Southampton booked their return to the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Leeds United.
Warnock, who previously managed Leeds United between 2012 and 2013, was pitchside at the end of the game analysing Adam Armstrong’s first-half winner, as well as all of the talking points from the rest of the game.

However, Warnock was drowned out by a number of lawnmowers that had begun tending to the turf shortly after the game.
As the 75-year-old tried to give his insight, he quickly turned over his left shoulder towards a groundsman, quipping: “Excuse me, can you be a bit louder please, if you don’t mind.”

Warnock turned back to the camera with a smile on his face asking: “Can you believe that?” Before host David Prutton joked they were preparing for Taylor Swift’s upcoming shows from June 21 to June 23.
“Here’s another one Neil,” Purtton said, pointing towards a second groundsman who attempted to hide his smirking face and holding his hand up in apology.
“Do you want to just say a few words?” Warnock hilariously asked him as he walked by, seeing Purtton and pundits Troy Deeney and Jobi McAnuff burst into laughter.
Warnock later made another joke about the ground staff as he posed for a picture with YouTuber Miniminter and Chunkz, posting the snap to his Twitter page, saying: “Brilliant day at Wembley , and always happy to take pics with the fans. Think they might have been the lads making all that noise with the lawnmowers”.
