Women element vile toilet habits of previous boyfriends in viral submit

A new epidemic is killing romance for couples up and down the country, according to a viral social media post.

In short: men can’t wipe their butts properly.

An account of one man’s unhygienic ways posted to online forum Reddit has attracted hundreds of comments from long-suffering female partners — many of who have told of their partner’s equally gross habits.

‘I could pass on the occasional skid mark on the underwear. Accidents happen right?,’ wrote user LopsidedAttitude548.

‘The pants ok fine, accidents happen. But a skid mark on THE BED?!?! Multiple times I have gone to make the bed and notice a nice smear of shit on his side.’

People on Reddit and TikTok have sounded the alarm about the hygiene practices of the men they interact with. Some left poop marks on the bed.

Another ranted: ‘Why can’t men wipe their own asses properly? The expensive underwear I bought my fiancé has skid marks all in them.’

‘I’ve been sexually active for 15 years. In that timespan, I’ve had three partners leave skidmarks on the bed on four separate occasions,’ wrote another woman.

Women are sharing similar stories elsewhere on social media.

TikTok user Js.cuh, who worked at a urologist office said that ‘seven times out of ten’ when men would stand up at the office after disrobing, there’d be a poop stain left behind on the examining table.

This has left many people asking: what is going on with men? Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much research on this particular poop-phenomenon.

But scientists have concluded that there are stark differences in other kinds of hygiene between men and women.

Men in 47 countries across the world were less concerned with hygiene than women were, one 2022 study from the Institute for Futures Studies in Stockholm found

The study used information from a survey that asked people about when it was important to wash their hands, and how they felt about spitting.

In America, men consistently care less about hand washing than women – even before a meal or after using the bathroom, a 2018 poll of 1005 people conducted market research company IPSOS found

Dr Elaine Larson of Columbia School of Nursing, who studied the hygienic differences between men and women’s hands, found distinct differences.

‘When we’re looking at the germs that grow on the hands of men and women, men generally have higher bacterial counts than women on their hands,’ Dr Larson told Vice.

This could be because historically – women were placed into roles that required them to be clean – like cooking and childcare, Rosie Frasso, program director of public health at Thomas Jefferson University, told the New York Times.

Unsanitary practices in either arena could lead to severe sickness and death.

As a consequence, ‘these roles made women think about hand washing differently,’ Ms Frasso said.

Another theory is that men have been socialized to believe that cleanliness is womanly pursuit, Mr Manjoo said.

People online seem to be concerned by this. In a forum called ‘AskMen’ one user added a post that mentioned seeing other men be called out for practicing hygiene.

‘I’ve been seeing this in some spaces on the internet, straight men being accused of being gay, feminine, etc because they pay attention to their hygiene and/or keep their place organized,’ the post reads.

Whatever the cause, the women who love these men, and the doctors who treat them, are doing their best to spread the message that cleaning your butt is a must.

If you fail to properly clean down there – including wiping after the bathroom and washing in the shower- you could develop serious health problems, Sameer Islam, a Texas gastroenterologist told Men’s Health

‘Not wiping your butt correctly can [also] lead to serious issues – infections, hemorrhoids, itching, and discomfort. In fact, if you clean your backside well it will save you a lot of trouble down the road,’ he said.
