Kylie Minogue’s classic 12 months!
Clearly Kylie Minogue has had double reason to crack open the bubbly this week.
Not only did the Australian singer celebrate her 56th birthday yesterday – she also racked up another £30million in wine sales.
The pop princess, whose hits include The Loco-Motion, said she was ‘delighted’ to celebrate another year of fizzing trade.
Kylie Minogue Wines saw sales soar by almost 20 per cent in the 12 months up to May 4, according to data firm NIQ.

As well as toasting to her wines’ success, Ms Minogue also celebrated her birthday with a series of throwback snaps

Ms Minogue thanked ‘our incredible growers, wine makers, distributors and partners who are all such a part of the Kylie Minogue Wines success story’.
She added: ‘And of course to everyone who has chosen to enjoy a sip, glass or bottle of our wine.’
As well as toasting to her wines’ success, Ms Minogue also celebrated her birthday with a series of throwback snaps.
Posting the pictures on Instagram, she gushed about her parents Ronald and Carol as well as her TV presenter sister Dannii and cameraman brother Brendan.
She wrote: ‘It’s my birthdaaaaaay!! Thanks Mum and Dad. You’re the best! Thanks brother and sister. Also, the best! Celebrating with you. And thanks for all the beautiful messages from around the world. I LOOOOOOVE YOUUUU!!!’

Her £9 signature rose has been her best-selling tipple over the past year while her 0 per cent sparkling rose is the UK’s top non-alcoholic premium fizz.
