Man will get ‘Sprite’ tattoo however is left in hysterics after recognizing obtrusive error

People are getting all sorts of bonkers tattoos these days – and the possibilities for body art are absolutely limitless.

But the permanent doodles can turn into a right mess if you don’t keep your wits about you, which is a scary thought seeing as they’re on your body forever.

This was the case for one chap, who took to Reddit to show off his tatt blunder. He laughed: “I love my Spite can and temporary tattoo. Dude not going deep enough on the ‘y’ wasn’t intentional, but it sure is appropriate haha.”

The snap shows a simple sketch of what should be a Sprite can, but there’s a catch – the name’s been botched up big time. Take a gander, and you’ll spot that the tattoo actually says “Spite”.

This little mishap had people roaring with laughter – as the post garnered more than 1,000 upvotes. Someone confessed they were quite taken with the wonky design, despite it being “awful”. And it turns out loads of people felt the same, finding the whole thing utterly rib-tickling.

“I don’t know man, I think the Spite can is pretty nifty,” one person commented. Another added: ” That can of Spite has charm, though.”

Someone else said: “Actually kinda like the Spite one.” Another user remarked: “So terribly awesome.”

In his post, the bloke invited others to flaunt their own “rubbish” tattoos, and the crowd was more than eager to join the fun. Looks like there’s a whole army of social media users sporting dodgy inkings out there.

One individual shared a “portrait of my grandpa”, which resembled more of a child’s doodle than a portrait. Another showcased a tattoo of a snail, stating: “I have several not garbage tattoos and it’s this little b******d that gets the most compliments.”

A third chimed in with: “A friend had been doing his own tats, but hadn’t done one on someone else so I let him do this since it was already sort of scribbled and so left room for error. I think he did well enough but its definitely a bit….grungey lol.”

And another added: “I’ve had this fat cat on my hip for at least 12 years now. I love him, he’s my fat cat from my childhood.”

What’s evident from the thread is that there have been plenty of eccentric tattoos over the years. Whether you adore them or despise them – some are downright hilarious.
