Once scoffed at when announced, the Europa Conference League final is now one of the most anticipated events on the calendar.
The second of three European finals in two weeks, it’s the precursor to the big one at the weekend – the Champions League final. Italian side Fiorentina are looking to right the wrong of last season, when they were beaten in the final by West Ham.
Standing in their way are Greek giants Olympiacos – who are looking for their first ever European triumph. And what a place to win it too, with the final being held at the OPAP Arena – the home of their bitter rivals AEK Athens.
