Bus caught yards from depot as smoke pours from tyre – individuals cannot cease laughing
A bus driver‘s vehicle became stuck on a central reservation just a stone’s throw from the local depot – leaving people in stitches.
The scene unfolded in front of bystanders in Luton, Bedfordshire, who erupted into laughter. In a now-viral Facebook video of the incident, one could be heard saying: “You can’t park there, mate.”
Passengers onboard looked on through the windows bemused as the driver attempted to get himself out of the quandary. A witness then took it upon himself to hilariously direct traffic around the bus.

The camera panned to show a throng of amused spectators pointing and cackling, with one observer exclaiming: “This is the funniest s**t I’ve ever seen!”
One group attempted to push the bus from behind. However their attempts to dislodge the vehicle only made matters worse as smoke billowed from the back tyres.
Another futile attempt to solve the problem saw concrete and wood placed under the wheels, much to the delight of the growing crowd. One bewildered witness could be heard saying: “It’s mad… it’s kicking off,” adding, “I’m so confused. Luton’s a simulation, don’t come to Luton!”
Meanwhile, his mate jeered at the driver: “Zero IQ. He’s just doing burnouts at this point. And there’s about a billion hours of traffic behind.”
Locals who viewed the clip online were less amused, however, and blasted the bystanders for mocking the driver. One Facebook user hit back: “Just there laughing like some kids instead of everyone there pushing the bus baffles me.”
Another chimed in: “I don’t think so it’s funny at all.” A third suggested, “Instead of standing there laughing why not all help out.” And a fourth queried, “Why didn’t you all just push it the amount of people there wouldn’t be hard.”
A representative from Arriva said n a brief statement: “An investigation into this incident is ongoing.”
