Mourinho set to make administration return however followers are baffled by alternative of membership

Jose Mourinho is reportedly set to return to management with Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.

The Special One has been out of a job since January after he left Roma following successive losses against arch-rival Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-final and AC Milan in the league – which left the Giallorossi five points behind the Champions League spots.

But the 61-year-old is set to take charge of the tenth club in his career and the first team in Turkey. It was reported by Fabrizio Romano on Friday (May 31) that the Portuguese has a ‘verbal agreement’ with Fenerbahce for a two-year contract with an option to a third.

A third fan joked: “Loool at this point retire bro,” while a fourth moped: “Where did it go wrong for Jose?” Before they were shut down by either a Mourinho or Fenerbahce fan, who replied: “He’s going there to win titles to add to his record.”

Mourinho has won trophies with every club he’s been with, apart from Tottenham Hotspur who sacked him days before the EFL Cup final against Manchester City in 2017, since he took charge of Porto in 2002.

His record as a proven winner will delight the Fenerbahce faithful with the club marking ten years without winning the Super Lig at the end of this season.

The 19-time champions have slipped five Super Lig crowns behind Galatasaray during their title drought.
