Daniel Dubois vs Filip Hrgovic battle – UK begin time for ring walks
Daniel Dubois takes on Filip Hrgovic with the winner potentially facing British heavyweight superstar Anthony Joshua in September at Wembley.
It’s an intriguing heavyweight contest with the ‘interim’ IBF title on the line as current belt holder Oleksandr Usyk is currently injured and unable to enter into purse bids for a mandatory fight.
However, Usyk is also contracted to a rematch with Tyson Fury on December 21 which means once his medical suspension is lifted then he may be stripped of the title. That would mean the winner of Dubois and Hrgovic could be elevated to official world champion.
