Ex-Arsenal and Everton striker hospitalised after sudden sickness
Former Arsenal and Everton forward Kevin Campbell has reportedly been hospitalised after falling ill.
Campbell’s conditions is currently unknown but sources to the ECHO have confirmed his hospitalisation occurred last week.
Since news broke of his health issues, footie fans and celebs alike have thrown their support behind Campbell.

Trevor Sinclair, legendary Premier League star, took to his X (Twitter substitute) account, posting: “Sending prays, love and light to Kevin Campbell. Absolutely lovely human.”
Ste Kelly, a fervent supporter, emotionally posted on social media: “In 1999 Evertonians prayed to God and Kevin Campbell answered. Now we’re praying to Kevin Campbell, time for God to answer and help him. Dig deep big man, scramble for this.”
Campbell began his football journey with Arsenal as a schoolboy in 1985, quickly making a name for himself in the academy by netting an impressive 59 goals in a single season. He won the FA Youth Cup with the Gunners in 1988 and made his first-team debut against his future club Everton that same year.
The London-born striker went on to make over 200 appearances for Arsenal, bagging five major honours during his tenure with the Gunners.

In 1995, Campbell transferred to Nottingham Forest where he played for four years before moving to Trabzonspor. His journey then led him to Everton in March 1999.
Despite Everton’s struggle with relegation and a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in his debut match, Campbell’s remarkable scoring spree of nine goals in five matches ensured Premier League survival with a game to spare, reports the Express.
Campbell continued to play for Everton until 2005, when he moved to West Bromwich Albion, and later joined Cardiff City on a short-term contract. Over his two-decade-long career, he made over 540 professional appearances and scored 148 times.
The tributes have also continued to flood in on social media.
Rob Coppell chimed in, sharing his worries: “Sending love, strength, and best wishes to Super Kevin Campbell.”
Emma Webb offered her blessings and wishes for recovery: “Just heard about Kevin Campbell… sending all my love to him, praying he gets well soon.”
In the same vein, Ryan Fletcher extended his warm thoughts, saying: “Thoughts and prayers go out to Kevin Campbell and all his family and friends. Kevin is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met really hope he makes a full recovery and gets better asap.”
