Infamous Guinness Facebook group members admit it is ‘getting out of hand’

A popular Facebook page known for showcasing pints of Guinness and women’s bodies has seemingly ditched the pints altogether.

The infamous Guinness Community has gained a massive following, boasting 364k members at the time of writing with a mixture of humour and pictures. But while those pictures were once more focused on the Guinness, the community has now gone one step further and focused entirely on the image of women.

While the post was received well, some in the comments section felt that the group may have got “out of hand” – but they most certainly didn’t say this was a bad thing.

Captioned “no Guinness today,” followed by a sad face, the image portrays what appears to be a day of DIY.

The man who posted the picture centred the image on a small paintbrush covered in grey paint and a squatting woman wearing partially see-through leggings. As the caption points out, there is no Guinness involved in the post, which at the time of writing has some 2k likes and almost 200 comments.

In the comments, noting how the post had almost nothing to do with Guinness, one person said: “This group is getting out of hand but please continue”.

Replying to that, one person said: “I wholeheartedly am disgusted at the behaviour of this group, and I fully support this comment.”

“Best group ever,” another added.

Accompanied by a pair of laughing face emojis, another person said in a separate comment: “This is getting out of hand now admin !!”

“That’s a big job, you’ll need a bigger tool lad,” another wrote.

Another joked: “This photo is motivating me to do a spot of DIY all of a sudden!”
