Harry and Meghan may very well be taken in by ‘sort’ nation in the event that they’re booted from US
Prince Harry’s tell-all memoir ‘Spare’ has rocked the Royal Family with its jaw-dropping disclosures, and now it looks like it might land him in hot water legally.
The Duke’s admissions about dabbling in cocaine, weed and magic mushrooms have sparked questions about whether he declared this on his US visa application when he hopped across the pond.
The Heritage Foundation, a right-wing policy institute in Washington, is gunning for Prince Harry’s immigration records, claiming the issue boils down to “whether the government provides special treatment for high profile celebrities”.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US.
They’re homing in on the paperwork Prince Harry would’ve filled out upon his arrival in the US on March 14, 2020, since US immigration typically puts people through the wringer regarding past drug use.
This legal tussle could spell trouble for the Duke, as ex-BBC Royal reporter Jennie Bond told OK! magazine: “Harry must regret having been so frank about drugs in his book. It really wasn’t a necessary part of the narrative although I understand that he was trying to explain his mental health issues.”
Jennie added: “But admissions like that can have consequences and, right now, he must be feeling the heat. I think he’s fine as long as the Biden administration continues to back him. But things could be very different if Trump became president again.
“In the end, though, I can’t imagine that the USA would actually throw him out. Lawyers would find some way around it, I think. But it must be an unnecessary worry and embarrassment for Harry at the moment.”
Looking ahead at the worst case scenario, expulsion from the country, Jennie did however offer a glimmer of hope as she suggested a neighbouring country may be willing to take the couple in. She added: “I suppose if the worst came to the worst, they would have to find somewhere else to live but I doubt that it would be the UK. Perhaps Canada would look kindly on them. But I don’t think it will come to that.”
The comments follow royal commentator Duncan Larcombe’s suggestion that Meghan is overshadowing her husband, a situation that suits Harry’s preference to play “second fiddle”. Speaking to OK! he said: “Meghan is a very strong character, very driven, extremely ambitious, and those are the kind of characteristics that mean she will almost always inevitably outshine Harry and grab the attention from him.
“Harry is entirely in her shadow. But he’s never really been at ease with the attention, he’s never really enjoyed it. Whether it’s deliberate or not, Meghan is definitely a magnet for attention.
“Although we saw a huge amount of money spent on her combined outfits for Nigeria so maybe it’s not a complete accident that she steals the limelight. Their Nigeria trip was ‘The Meghan Show’ and Harry was the side.”
